CABANELAS HOUSE
One stone in the forest.
The Cabanelas House is a single-storey family home.
The project organizes two volumes, one for the social areas and the other for the private rooms. The shape and positioning of these volumes respond directly to the existing trees on the site.
The two concrete blocks sit like rocks in the middle of the forest, gradually being embraced by the surrounding nature. Time is needed to complete the building’s final architecture.
