[EN] On the past 1st December, D. Manuel Linda, the Bishop of Porto, has celebrated the first ceremony at the new church of Freamunde. For me it was a dream come true. Sometimes it's weird to see something that started in your head, having a life of it's own, when you depend no longer. I'm proud of the final result and I've the impression that the community has embraced the architecture. I have to thank Padre Brito for the confidence he has always shown in my work, and for being so supportive even when things were not going our way. I hope to publish soon new pictures of the building at the project's page.
[PT] No passado dia 1 de Dezembro foi dedicada a nova Igreja de Freamunde pelo bispo do Porto, D. Manuel Linda. Para mim foi ver um sonho realizado. É estranho ver algo que nasceu da nossa cabeça, ganhar vida própria, sem depender de nós. Estou orgulhoso do resultado final e fiquei com a impressão de que a comunidade abraçou a arquitectura. Agradeço ao Padre Brito a confiança que sempre mostrou no meu trabalho e por ser sempre tão solidário, mesmo quando os trabalhos não caminhavam na nossa direcção. Espero publicar em breve uma reportagem fotográfica do edifício construído na página do projecto.
